Ancient Wisdom, Modern Times

Vedanta is derived from two words Veda – Knowledge and Anta – End.  Vedanta means the end of knowledge. This ancient philosophy presents the eternal principles of life and living. It programmes a life of mental peace combined with dynamic action in the world. Equips one with clarity of intellect to deal with the challenges of life.  Above all its philosophy leads one to the ultimate goal of Self-Realisation.

The material layers of the individual are the body, mind and intellect. These need to be used diligently to unravel the Supreme Self within. The three yogas are Karma (Action) for the body, Bhakti (Devotion) for the mind, and Jnana (Knowledge) for the intellect. These disciplines need to be carefully understood. Then practised in the right proportion to ensure comprehensive development of the personality.
